I don't know what that is, but I am highly intrigued. That'd be a yes from me, I think.
I'm buggering off to Ireland in a few days, mind, but I'll be back around just after New Year's.

I just love the way even the url says 'hideous bathroom' on that picture.
Brown? Ugh. I feel all traumatised now.
I mean, loads of things in this house are grey, but brown?!

I like the sound of that. The Safe Cream is more off-white, almost a bit greenish, and it's horrid - but something nice and buttermilky would be much nicer.
I'm leaning more and more towards the three cream walls/one red wall plan...

Yeah, I think I got a glimpse of it and thought it looked cool. Generally, though, the colours of your flat rock. Is that the bedroom wall you're standing against in the icon?
I had a funny feeling you might say that.

I take your point, but thing is, my bedroom is also my workspace and I quite like the idea of having a violent, energetic colour on the wall with the desk. The rest of the room can be nice and peaceful.
You can do sub-Rothko silliness all over your walls if you want to. Why *can't* you do sub-Rothko silliness all over the walls?

It's from Nanny Ogg's cookbook, or rather, it is *in* Nanny Ogg's cookbook, cos I wrote it. I have proof! It's just a sort of coconut and chicken curry with chilli and lots of garlic.
AFter new year is good for us actually. Probably. We're coming up to Oxford today, anyway. Escaping the shoes.

Yes, that's the one.
My parents were v uncertain about the lots-of-colours thing when we were planning it (they implied it might bring the value of the house down; I said that if we ever wanted to sell up we'd repaint, & anyway it was OUR HOUSE so there), but really liked it once it was all done. It was *lovely* to be able to splash paint around in lots of lovely colours after living in student/rented accommodation with neutral-coloured walls for ages.
