I saw Allen Ginsberg on TV once when I was a small child, playing a squeezebox and reciting 'Father Death Blues'. At the time I just thought he was weird and a bit disturbing. I enjoyed it later, though, looking back through the lens of time into a smaller, less experienced brain and out through its eyes.
