I'm back. And I can't decide:

Current Mood: absurdly glorious, gloriously absurd
Current Mood: eureka!
Current Mood: gay great happening illimitably earth
Current Mood: no coward soul is mine
Current Mood: so fucking happy it hurts
Current Mood: a little bit tired, but brand new

Everything about being back home was wonderful. Now my computer seems to be broken and I'm not bouncing off the walls screaming in horror, I'm shrugging and thinking, well, if it is dead I can always just paint and draw and write in longhand until I can get a new one. That's how good a mood I'm in.

I am rapidly losing hope, having tried all the suggestions on the support pages and so far only having managed to get it to start up for a second, then immediately shut down again. The one bright spot is that I *think* it's a power issue, not that the disc is fried, so I may get my files back...

Still not upset though :) :)

You've got a laptop, haven't you?

Have you tried with another power-supply? I had the very same problem myself last week.

Or with taking the battery out & just running it on the power supply?
