oneword, now with added interactivity!

super
What would your superpower be? The first thing to spring to mind is always flying, but that's dull, pretty much all superheroes can fly. It would also be fun to be able to slip back and forth between reality and fiction, but damnit, Jasper Fforde got there first. Anyway. Your turn...

I'd like the power to discorporate - become ethereal and invisible at will. I'd still be there somehow, watching, like a ghost. I'd sneak around and find out what people are doing behind each others' backs.
It'd be perfect for the typical superhero secret identity career of journalist.

hmmm

I have an uncanny ability with waiting staff, but as super powers go it probably won't save the day, so I reckon one of those cool morphing powers would do me changing shapes & identities to suit my mood or some bizzare artistic criteria :>

and not pyro powers no siree no pretty dancing flames

I'd like to be able to manipulate molecules so they could be at any state they've ever been in during their history or future. For example, at the delicate wave of my hand I could turn Hatfield into a wall of ice, as once upon a time it was under a glacier.

If I was ever at the receiving end of a bullet, I could twist the air in front of me to become the state it was in during the big bang/early stages of the earth's construction (hot and volcanic I assume) to melt the bullet. Also useful for walking on water, stopping rice burning to the bottom of the pan and catching missed buses.

Changing my own physical attributes at will.

Turning into a wolf.

A flying wolf.

Breathing underwater, no contest. Oh, and I don't know how deep you can go before the pressure underwater gets too much, but can I add the ability to withstand that, too?

I want to be able to tap into the CENTURION FORCE and become one with the 21st Century. Moving from decade to decade through the history flux to defend paradigm shelves from hostile parachronic incursion. Superheroes as you know them are so the remit of the 20th centurion, darling!

I'd like to have the power to make Torquay United win the European Cup this year.

Don't know a snappy one worder

But I think the ability to be able to walk through solid objects would be interesting. Especially if I could bring other things I touch through too. Otherwise it would be a pain in the ass to have to take my clothes off every time I wanted to do it.

I'd take the superspeed. It's one of those great powers where, if you've got the power, you don't need the physical training. If Clark Kent were this overweight guy who mostly sleeps, he could still probably manage Mach 3, and lift a truck.

Thinking about it, God Alone knows where Clark finds himself a gym challenging enough to keep him in shape. Or scissors that can cut his hair. He should be this long-haired, under-toned, maybe slightly paunchy guy.

Hey, you're dating him!

So, yeah, the ability to do a slouching amble at Mach 3. Most of the problems in my life could be solved if I could commute for free, and more or less instantaneously. I'd probably do couriering.

Already being the possessor of innumerable strange and confusing powers, it's difficult for me to pick another at random. I don't want to hog them all.

But I'd like to see all the possible results of any action I took. Not seeing the future, just giving myself the best possible chance...
*or*
I'd quite like to have a giant, interdimensional space hand.
