The only two I don't like are wordworksweb (much too clunky) and hotmetaltype because, for a professional woman, I'm thinking that a URL containing the word "hot" brings the wrong associations. Sexist but there you go.

After reading your explanations of the domains, I'd agree that thewordforge.co.uk is not great either (mostly I'd be worried about the collision with the .com space).

Moltenwords.com and burnishedwords.com are both good. Of the two I like "burnished" slightly better: I think it has the steampunkier vibe you're looking for. Plus there's something mellifluous about the way the "ur" in burnished goes with the "or" in words.
