I'd been thinking about Trainspotting for a different reason: Scotland have drawn the Netherlands (http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/internationals/story.jsp?story=452870) in the play-offs for Euro 2004, so of course Archie Gemmill's goal at the 1978 World Cup has been mentioned....
