I wobbled down the main street of Whitby in my new boots. 'Hello,' said a voice behind me. I turned around, looked up - and up - to see a handsome chap in an A House T-shirt (Irish band, good choice), grey overcoat and tentative smile. I smiled back.

Happy anniversary, verlaine.
