Eventually, yeah, I hope to do that. Probably that much-discussed house :) I just don't know where my roots want to plant themselves in order to do that yet.

Have you read Amnesia Moon by Jonathan Lethem? It's a sci-fi novel where something's happened to the fabric of the world so that bubbles of reality develop around 'strong dreamers', becoming what they think the world should be like. One bit is post-apocalypse survivalist, another is thin people only, in another the people are sort of suburban nomads. But America's like that anyway. Maybe I need to dream stronger, to make my own little bubble.
