Oh, I love the people. It's just the gruellingness and the rent and the council tax and the job that isn't actually all that good and the huge commutes and the difficulty of seeing any countryside and the tube soot in your nose &c &c that's getting me down.

But really, it is the people who make a place, when you come down to it. And you're great. (Plus your appreciation of London is inspiring)
