You can see the whole world from up here. All the way to the sea, curving over the horizon. Wind blows with a distant sound through the heather. Time is different here, stretchy like toffee, based on sun and moon and hunger and sleep. Oh, I want to stay.

Heh. Maybe that would explain why my phone couldn't see the network for several days. I thought I'd been disconnected and was trying to phone Orange surreptitiously from the work phone when my colleagues weren't in the room. In the end all it took was taking out the sim card and putting it back in again. *sheepish*

Being on an imaginary mountain is a much more interesting explanation.
