I recently wanted a copy of "V for Vendetta". I have no local independent comic shops I know of, so I started at the branch of the comic chain (no dice), smaller local bookshop (no dice), large national UK chain (succeess!). Had I still failed I would have gone onto large multinational chain, then Amazon.. Starting with the smallest assuages my guilt.
