I used to wear a large silver earring with a captive bead. I bought it with five pounds that I got as a token payment for DJing, though the backslaps and compliments would have been payment enough. I took it off a year and a half later under the pressure of criticism at work. Not a good enough reason, looking back. I should put it back on, now that I'm free.

I tried clicking through to do a oneword earlier today - but when I got to the textbox and the countdown my brain froze up entirely and I couldn't write anything. I don't think I was in anywhere near the correct state of mind, my head was teeming full of other things! Any tips?
