I have bought two boxes of Stars'n'Stripes doughnuts, Californian wine, beer and The Times, which has a useful chart of what's happening in which state and when.

It's going to be a long night, but hey, bring it on.

I know what you mean. I'm looking at that Bush 186/Kerry 112 result and quivering. It's only extreme drunkenness that is saving me from an outburst of tragic weeping.

I'm kind of wishing I was with you lovely folk since drunkeness loves company and I think I'd be able to produce tragic weeping on cue.

The visiting election party consists of me, and I'm just sitting in a corner saying "It's all shit!". You are welcome to cheer us up/ echo my prophecies of doom...

All right. I have officially given up on sleeping tonight.
So instead I'm drinking the leftover alchohol from the last party and hammering out my NaNo.
And I think the cider is really kickin in and it's confusing me even more about the American Election Process.

On the other hand, it is all rather exciting.
