Who's coming to Synthetic Culture tonight?

And a poll, because this has been on my mind lately. Which genres of music do you like? And I mean really like, makes hairs stand up on the back of your neck or tears come to your eyes or your foot to tap uncontrollably or makes you feel all's right with the world, that sort of like.

This isn't supposed to cover all genres. My purpose will be explained shortly. (I should have put in an 'Other - please state' thingy, so please state your others in the comments.)

Oh, I was trying to make a point that I might like a song that fits in any one of the genres. And I left all the second question unticked, as a tune I like doesn't necessarily HAVE to have any of those attributes. Sorry for screwing the stats :)

You haven't screwed the stats at all. I was just curious about the reasons for your choices. I wasn't expecting so many people to span the spectrum, and certainly not as comprehensively as yourself. This is interesting!
