One of these days I'll write something less obvious

'lava'
hot and spewing up from the cracks in the earth. everything churning and buried under the surface is pushing out now to an accompaniment of screams and smoke. it shouldn't have been kept inside for so long. when it cools, though, the rocks will be in fantastic curled shapes.
